Deyuan opens its first African sales point in Chingola, Zambia

In August 2023, Deyuan Group officially opened its first African sales point in Chingola, Zambia — a mining town at the centre of the Copperbelt, one of the world's most productive copper regions.

The site stocks and supplies the reagents that keep hydrometallurgical copper plants running: our DY984N copper extractant for solvent extraction, alongside cobalt sulfate, flocculant and solvent oil (diluent) — the complete chemical package for SX-EW circuits.

For African copper producers, the sales point means faster delivery, local technical support and shorter lead times — no more waiting on long-distance shipments for routine reagent replenishment.

It was also a deliberate first step. The on-the-ground presence in Zambia laid the foundation for the larger investment that followed — our own hydrometallurgical copper project in the country.
