A dual complexation–adsorption system: silicon-based inorganic and organic adsorbents bind degraded organic impurities through silicon–oxygen coordination so they separate cleanly from the organic phase, while clay and activated carbon provide auxiliary adsorption. In the patent's published testing, it removed more than 90% of interface crud and improved phase-separation efficiency by more than 50%, while remaining stable in acid and alkali and compatible with the LIX, SME, Acorga, Kelex and N902 copper-extractant series.
